China International Energy Forum 2008
Sponsorship Invitation
To enhance the communication and cooperation between China and foreign countries, Counselor’s Office of the State Council of China, Chinese National Committee of World Petroleum Council (WPC), and Chinese National Committee of World Energy Council (WEC) will jointly host China International Energy Forum 2008 from October 15 to 16, 2008. The theme of this forum will be “Improving Energy Efficiency and Developing Clean Energy”.
People attending this forum will take part in the in-depth discussions focusing energy conservation, emission reduction, exploitation of new and renewable energy, and environment protection. We’ll invite Chinese high-ranking officials who are in charge of the energy sector, leading officials of international organizations, as well as domestic and overseas celebrated experts to attend this forum and make a speech so that this forum can serve as a platform to promote cooperation between Chinese and foreign energy communities, and to contribute to the common goal of human — the sustainable development of economy and society as well as the harmony between the energy and the environment (Please see the attachment for the preliminary program).
